Le emulazioni di terminale pił frequentemente impiegate sono VT100 (ASCII) e ITA2. Sia la velocitą che le modalitą del terminale vengono determinate automaticamente. Per la corretta decodifica di questo sistema č necessario selezionare sul ricevitore un filtro IF con larghezza di almeno 3 kHz.
